During your initial visit, Dr. Bryan will
conduct a comprehensive examination and history. Taking a look into your
lifestyle, Dr. Bryan will assess your diet, exercise, employment, daily
habits, past injuries, and symptoms to design a treatment plan best suited
for your individual needs. In some instances, x-rays or other diagnostic
tests may be required, but not always. Each patient has a different reason
for coming to see us, and it is our goal to not only resolve your immediate
symptoms but resolve that condition and ensure a sense of well-being.
Intensive Phase: To relieve your symptoms as quickly as possible,
it is recommended that you see Dr. Bryan two to four times per week
depending on the severity of your symptoms. Using adjustments,
physiotherapies, and massage, the goal of this phase is to reduce your pain
and return you to a comfortable state of being.
Rehabilitative Phase: With most of your
obvious symptoms gone, this next phase is designed to emphasize self-care
and maintenance by decreasing the frequency your visits to about once a
week. Chiropractic care, massage, and
Pilates are recommended during this
time to repair muscle and tissue damage, help strengthen weakened muscles,
and relieve joint stiffness and swelling.
Wellness Phase: Dr. Bryan recommends a
visit every four to six weeks to help maintain proper spinal alignment and
function. Emphasizing the benefits of massage and
Pilates, this phase
concentrates on strengthening the surrounding muscles and soft tissue to
maintain the corrected spinal position. Ultimately the goal is to provide a
healthy lifestyle of proper diet, exercise, and relaxation to ensure comfort
and well- being.
